This stamp book is made from Hiroshima cedar and has the warmth and scent of wood.
This is a goshuin book with the seed character ``Kiriku'' of Senju Kannon, the guardian deity of the Year of the Child, and the Sanskrit character of its mantra on the cover.
(The Sanskrit word for Thousand-Armed Kannon Bodhisattva, Sahasrabja, means ``one with a thousand arms.'' In response to a petition to save all sentient beings, he became a figure with a thousand hands and eyes of wisdom in his palms.) He is a bodhisattva of compassion.)
